Let your energy blend this seasonal light

Merry Christmas all the year,

As the shadows grow long

It's holiday time!

Almost time for the annual visit.

I reflect on Christmases down through the years,

Of long ago moments that were lived again.

In my inner being joyous essences 

Hang there like ornaments on the proverbial tree

Yet somewhere a small pause.

Deeply I wonder, 

how many more Christmases?

The future doesn’t let me see.

For people make up these special moments,

Human energy merges with love

(Surely there is love?)

I’ve felt it around this time every year

I’ve seen it in the “twinkling of the lights”

Reflected in the child’s eyes.

Surely can’t it be seen, this ‘simple fact’

That we are all “children”

Caught up in energy so bright, showing 

That we exist upon the tree-of–life

Everyone can get the twinkle
