So many emotions

                       feelings               

                        hidden inside

                         part of the past left there

 

                  Occasionally something stirs the past 

   

                       and things get tangled together

     

                         rolling, enmeshed, combining

                  Joining in reflections,

    

                       refractions 

    

                          becoming twisted

     

                           as if all of it made sense

               Taking control-becoming the most important thing

      

                       making everything else small in comparison 

        

                          going nowhere-leading nowhere.

                Don’t stay there,

    

                      return to the present
